There are a ton of perks and quality of life improvements hiding in there — like increasing your mining speed, or decreasing food energy used by running — so you’ll want to get a jump on attaining them to make your adventure go a little smoother.

You can't really make these items until you get to the mid-game, either, so take advantage of the Core's Waypoint in the early game and build your base near it!

Fighting igneous slime boss is one of the most frustrating fights I've ever experienced in any video game in my entire life. I made burn proof food, but between random fire moths that keep spawning and the bosses attacks, it becomes a bullet hell fight.

Players can farm most skills with various AFK methods, to gain earlier advantage from some stronger buffs and useful talents. However, this is unnecessary in a normal playthrough. Especially since skill levelling was made substantially quicker in the 0.5 Desert Update.

I only did the first 3 bosses, which anyone who has played the game will know that that is a fairly small part of the game, and the defeat Core Keeper Gameplay of the third boss unlocks a good chunk of the game. The first 2 bosses were a breeze, which we were able to defeat within the first try. They would unlock useful NPCs when killed, but their loot was often not altering the game in a meaningful way, a couple more inventory slots is all I can remember.

3. RNG - While RNG isnt the worst on Melee or Ranged, because you can get items from crafting, the fact that you cannot do the same for Magic or Summon, makes for a really painful expierience. There needs to be a crafting bench for magic classes, just to reduce the absolute grind that players who choose to play that dmg type would have to suffer through.
